Barilla & Whirlpool

CucinaBarilla – the new Barilla and Whirlpool integrated system – a unique kitchen experience based on the union of food and technology. To explain it, RobilantAssociati developed an ad hoc visual identity, using language that was simple, familiar, recognizable, and entertaining .

Once upon a time there was a kitchen. Then came CucinaBarilla, a brand new kitchen experience based on the synergy between food and technology. The new Barilla and Whirlpool integrated system was designed to help people who want to make healthy meals within the limited time imposed by today’s society. For this special system, an ad hoc visual identity needed to be developed, using language that was simple, familiar, recognizable, and entertaining, capable of helping consumers discover a new way of cooking.

The project began with naming and a brand study and then evolved into creating a communication platform that involved the oven and a wide variety of recipe kits, culminating with the design and communication at the point of sale.
